LOSMIN JIMENEZ GREGORY

Losmin Jimenez Gregory is a seasoned attorney with over 16 years of legal experience across the East Coast, advocating for clients in child abuse and neglect, family law, domestic violence, disability rights, immigration, civil rights, and appeals. Her dedication to justice has taken her from bustling urban centers like Miami, FL, to rural communities such as Greenfield, MA, where she has effectively served diverse populations. Bilingual in English and Spanish, she ensures clear communication and understanding for her clients.

Losmin has held leadership roles within nonprofit organizations and prestigious bar association committees, solidifying her reputation as a champion of immigrant rights, right-to-counsel, and access to justice for children and parents. She is licensed to practice law in Florida, Maryland, the District of Columbia, and Massachusetts, allowing her to navigate complex legal frameworks across multiple jurisdictions. Her extensive network with key leaders in child and immigration advocacy enables her to drive forward-thinking legal strategies and solutions.

As Project Director and Senior Director of Immigrant Justice at the Advancement Project in Washington, DC, Losmin provided legal advocacy and policy support to immigrant rights organizations across the country. She collaborated with:

•  Puente Human Rights Organization in Arizona on humane conditions for detained immigrants.

•  Juntos in Pennsylvania on education rights for immigrant youth.

•  Florida Immigrant Coalition (FLIC) in Miami in its efforts against racial profiling.

•  Tennessee Immigrant and Refugee Rights Coalition (TIRRC) after an ICE raid at a meatpacking plant in 2018.

Her expertise in immigration detention led her to testify before the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights in 2019 regarding conditions in detention centers.

Losmin also served as Senior Attorney at Kids in Need of Defense (KIND) in Baltimore, where she represented unaccompanied children in immigration and family law cases. She is also a proud member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).
